Nathan's tri...

A beautiful day for a tri and the BEST cheer squad!
We did it!

Ely's favorite part of the race, the FOOD!

Ya Kats! She finished her 1st tri

Off to run 3.1 miles, boy were my legs not moving fast the first mile.

Run Josh Run
Finished the 12.7 mile bike ride, it wasn't a pretty sight for sure. I threw up 2x during the ride but felt great after!

Kats finishing her bike ride and in transition for the run.

Josh finishing the bike ride, he KILLED it! He had a very interesting start...
1. Dropped off Ely at 5:20 Am
2. Arrived at race 5:40AM
3. Got chip and set-up transition area only to find out his tire was NOT cooperating to air up
4. They are announcing we have 7 minutes to finish and get out of transition area, still FLAT tire
5. We rush bike to Landis cycle (thank goodness for them) and they quickly fix tire
6. I have to return his bike to transition area because Josh is the first wave and it was about to start BUT Josh had to go to the bathroom, not something he could have done in the lake if you know what I mean
7. He is in Blue Jon and first wave was in water, HE MISSED the WAVE...oh wait it gets better
8. He rushes out of bathroom and tries to get in water only to find out 2nd wave is getting in so he jumps over the wall into the water and rushes and still misses his wave completely and is now in 2nd wave and he forgot to put goggles on! He swam breast stroke and side stroke because his googles were a mess and water leaking in them.

Spratley's are #1

Whooo Hooo Kats, You rocked it! She was in front of me the whole time, she kept me going I tell ya.

So proud of you baby!

Yup, so glad it's over, loved it but glad it's over. I still think marathons are easier no matter what anyone tries to tell me!
